It’s time to bring on some new contributors for Eat. Drink & be Skinny!
If you’re a reader, I sure hope you enjoyed the first series of contributor posts from the first team of contributors! Way back in March, I set out on a quest to find some new, fresh, smart health and fitness writers for Eat. Drink & be Skinny. I ended up with 14 amazing, talented, smart and witty experts who have shared nearly 40 different posts with you since May. This was the gang, the inaugural batch of “EDBS Contributors” and I adore every one of them. Personally, I learned so much as I edited and scheduled each post.
EDBS Health and Fitness Writers: Take 2!
Some of the current writers will be staying on, some new ones are already lined up and I wanted to put out a fresh invitation for new voices to apply before I schedule out the editorial calendar. If you’re a health and fitness writer, you may have an opportunity to share your stories with the community and I want to hear from you!22
Why do I have a contributor program?
For two primary reasons. First, if you’re a reader, I want you to get more information from different perspectives and experiences, but with the same thoughtful goal that this blog has always represented. With different writers, we can share more information so you’re always stocked with credible, actionable and helpful information!
Second, if you’re a credible and experienced writer in the health field, I want to give you a new community to share your voice, expertise and ideas. Trust me, I know how it feels to slave away over a post your passionate about only to have 10 readers and crickets for response. Eat. Drink & be Skinny already has an existing audience that is interested in and hungry for fresh information.
