Skinny Blueberry Margarita #SundayFunday
Ouch! Tough Mudder SoCal kicked my butt yesterday! I did the Big Bear version for fun in July and wanted to give it a go and see what would happen if I tried to “race” a Mudder. Well, I can say “been there, done that, thank you and good bye!” Yes- we had a killer time! And I so appreciate my BFF Tansy’s BF Adam who literally carried me on his back and pushed me over 12 foot walls. We finished 11.5 miles and 26 obstacles in freeeeeeezing conditions in just over 2 hours 20 min. A victory for sure! But today I hurt. Muscles I did not know I had ache and areas I’ve never seen are bruised. My hands and knees are scratched…and don’t get me started on my nails!
Anyhow… long intro into today’s post about my Skinny Blueberry Margarita. It’s easing the pain on this day of rest for sure. Plus its made with real blueberries, a powerful antioxidant that is a super source of fiber–so let’s just call it healthy
Skinny Blueberry Margarita
1 1/2 oz Tequila
1 1/2 oz Zero Calorie Flavored Water
1 oz Bare Mixers Citrus Squeeze Mix
1/4 cup Frozen Blueberries
1/2 cup Ice
Few lime wedges
Calories: 139 per 5oz serving
Directions: put everything in the blender and mix till well blended
Poor into cool glass, garnish with a vibrant green lime and enjoy!
It’s simple and a winner for sure!
