Valentine’s SkinnyTini – A Heart Healthy Cocktail!

Hearts are on our minds’ in February, and not just because of our beloved St. Valentine, but also because it’s national heart health month! The Country Cosmo is a wonderful SkinnyTini to feature because not only will your honey be impressed by it’s luscious, deep rich color and intriguing flavor profile — it could in theory strengthen your love through a healthier heart! And beets are so hip these days, it was only a matter of time before someone spruced them up with some booze and served them up in a martini glass.  But on the uber positive note, according to WebMD, emerging studies suggest that beet juice is one of the richest dietary sources of antioxidants and nitrates that may improve blood pressure and blood flow throughout the body, including the brain, heart, muscles, and more. So shake up, serve up, cheers and enjoy sharing the love this February.
