“I was born with a natural interest in health and wellness. When I had to decide what to study in college way back in 1995, I picked nutrition because I figured at the very least, the topic would personally serve me and my life well. As it turns out, I’ve built a long career in the industry and in 2013 took the leap to forge my solo entrepreneurial path. I really am on a mission to make a happy and healthy lifestyle a reality for people everywhere. I want to help good people live a good life.
You read my bio and credentials — but you know what really seals the deal and prompted me to build this space on the interweb? The older I get, the smarter, fitter, leaner, meaner, quirkier, more confident, efficient I am. Experience made the difference and a lot of trial and error…It took being chubby, then learning to be “skinny.” Drinking too much one fun night, then waking up confused and embarrassed (um, well, maybe more than one time). Training to run a faster marathon than I ever thought I could, and then suffering an overuse injury that left me in a boot for 8 weeks. I flew almost every week for my career and I’ve seen all parts, sides, menus, lifestyles, scents and smells of this country. I’ve learned so much in these 15 years of adult solitude, that I feel obligated to pass on all the tips and tricks I’ve acquired along the way.
Just about every day I do something wrong, which means just about every day, I’m learning something new. If my stories of fitness, nutrition, weight loss, detox, cocktails, parties, friends and family, and even fat cats are at the very least entertaining, and at best actually useful, then this blog has served its purpose.”
