An Update from Teresa Marie!

I’ve been about breaking down barriers and making healthy living simple and actionable as long as I can remember. Which is why I was so passionate when I started building and investing in the Eat. Drink & be Skinny blog and community in 2013 and why I created and coached free monthly fitness challenges for five years.

My passion for life is deeply rooted in improving human health through higher quality food and empowering people to make smarter lifestyle decisions. That is unwavering.

I'm not a traditional new year's dieter

As you may know, I decided to take my passion for healthy eating one step further into the real world in early 2017 when I opened up The Clean & Colorful Kitchen in San Diego. Business is growing and ever evolving.

It is a brick and mortar business with real food, real staff and clients who count on us to bring them fresh, healthy (and delicious!) meals each week. As the kitchen has seen steady growth and success in one of the hardest industries imaginable, my focus inevitably shifted from my blog.

Building a business is not a side gig, nor is running a top-notch health and fitness blog. Even with the best help imaginable, the quality of Eat. Drink & be Skinny has suffered in the past year. Last month I made the decision to pull back most efforts on the internet to focus on my real-life Kitchen.

You won’t see as much of me here, but I’m not gone!

I love this community and the things we have achieved together in the past five years. The programs I’ve created and the success some of you have had has brought tears to my eyes! Myself and our EDBS contributor team have created nearly 600 relevant posts to help you improve your health and happiness, and they aren’t going anywhere. I encourage you to use the search function on this blog and use it as a resource for years to come!

I’m not ditching the inter-web completely, I’m a mad woman about health and fitness and love sharing what I’m into at the moment. I’ll pop up a few times a month with some blog posts, you just wont see any newsletters for a while or content posted 3+ times per week anymore. At least for the next few months.

I’ll be building the 42/42 Bootcamp Challenge from scratch, taking the best parts from 40 and 41 (and just like life) I’ll be making 42 even better!     I really would like to focus on core and lower body. I have been strength training and really want build muscle. But I’m a little heavier now than I have been in a long time so wouldn’t mind dropping 5 – 10 pounds.
