Fun Friday SkinnyTini — Cactus Chill

Well welcome to the weekend kids — and let me say its a well deserved one at that! And ironically, I’m 11 days booze free. I don’t know the last time I went nearly two weeks sans SkinnyTini. But one thing I do know, I love a challenge. So while I don’t exactly know what I’ll do tonight in lieu of Happy Hour and typical Friday fare…I do know it will be hilarious and of course a good way to wind down the week. But before I venture into the unknown, I wanted to post a weekly SkinnyTini before I closed up shop for the day.

So this is an oldy, but definitely a goody. It’s from my book “SkinnyTinis – All the Fun for Half the Calories and is also a very versatile cocktail. While it is tequila based, the rest of the cocktail would be equally fun to stir and sip! The ingredients are fresh, organic and refreshing. If that’s what you’re looking for this Friday night – than stock up, shake up and serve, because the Cactus Chill is a winner in more ways than one this weekend!

Cactus Chill (Boozed Up)

1 1/2 oz Tequila
1/4 oz Agave Nectar
1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
2 1/2 oz Lime Flavored Seltzer Water

Directions: Pour the tequila, agave and lime juice in the bottom of a highball glass and stir to mesh flavors. Add ice and fill the glass with the seltzer water and stir lightly again to distribute the flavors throughout the cocktail.

Calories: 130 for 5 oz Skinny Cocktail

Cactus Chill (Booze Free)

1/4 oz Agave Nectar
1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
2 1/2 oz Lime Flavored Seltzer Water
