Bootcamp Workout – Fusion Fitness

If you’ve been spending time inside a health club, running on the treadmill, spacing out on the elliptical and you don’t feel like you’re getting the results you’re looking for? Are you loving the results from the 30 day Push-Up Challenge and wanting to push yourself a little farther? Then maybe it’s time to try a Fusion Bootcamp Workout!

Here are a few fun fitness questions to ask yourself: 

  • Does your exercise routine have you hitting the snooze butting in the morning because it’s just boring?
  • Are you working out, but not seeing results?
  • Are you looking for a new challenge?
  • Do you feel like your body is in “cruise control” or working on “auto pilot?”

If your answer to anything above is “yes” then Fusion Bootcamp Workouts might be exactly what you need.

What exactly is a fusion bootcamp workout? Think of it as the “Kung Pao Enchilada” of exercise. By taking the best moves from various disciplines and putting them together you can create something more amazing than each individual sport. With intense intervals from a variety of traditional exercises, you can experience maximum results in the least amount of time.

Where can you find a Fusion Bootcamp Workout?

In San Diego, TNT Fusion Bootcamp is branding a different kind of bootcamp. Hosting free classes for the community on Saturday mornings in Mission Bay, we are on a “mission” to get San Diegans up and moving around. Finding joy and laughter, at the same time, pushing their bodies to gain strength and endurance. What if you don’t live in San Diego and don’t have access to the high quality coaches and other TNT Fitness Friends? Because it’s bootcamp style, you actually don’t need much equipment. So you can benefit from the concept by incorporating these moves into your weekly routing. Here is a sample CORE routine to get you started. This is just one of over 100 branded TNT Fusion Workouts.

SAMPLE: TNT Fusion Bootcamp Workout – CORE Focus

Each Fusion Workout is broken into 5 series, including a warm up and cool down. The three central series’ will focus on a primary muscle group, the synergist muscle and also the antagonist. This ensures each body part is exercised and stretched, decreasing your propensity for exercise related injury. With the muscle work, we layer in high intensity cardio moves to get your heart beating and your body sweating. So what does that look like?

Series #1: Dynamic Stretching (Warm Up)

  • Fusion Move: Childs pose to upward facing dog (2 min)
  • Fusion Move: Downward Facing Dog to Plank (2 min)
  • Fusion Move: Cat to Cow (2 min)

Series #2: Cardio Blast with Muscle Contraction for the Prime Mover Muscle (Rectus Abdomius)

  • Cardio Burst: High Knees (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Seated Crunches (2 min)
  • Cardio Burst: Tailbone Knee Pull Ins (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Full Body Crunches (2 min)
  • Cardio Burst: Jumping Rope (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Reverse Crunches (2 min)

Series #3: Cardio Blast with Muscle Contraction for the Synergist Muscle (Oblique’s)

  • Cardio Burst: Side to Side Shuffle (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Side Plank (2 min)
  • Cardio Burst: Oblique Knee Pull-ins (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Oblique Heal Touches (2 min)
  • Cardio Burst: Mountain Climbers (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Russian Twists (2 min)

Series #4: Cardio Blast with Muscle Contraction for the Antagonist Muscle (Erector Spinae)

  • Cardio Burst: Squat Jumps (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Romaine Deadlift (2 min)
  • Cardio Burst: Vertical Jumps (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Dorsal Arm and Leg Raise (2 min)
  • Cardio Burst: Sprints (1 min)
  • Fusion Move: Dorsal Crunch(2 min)

Series #5: Dynamic Stretching (Cool Down)

  • Fusion Move: Childs pose to upward facing dog (2 min)
  • Fusion Move: Downward Facing Dog to Plank (2 min)
  • Fusion Move: Cat to Cow (2 min)
