What I think I love most about this challenge, 2 days into in, is the people! I LOVE seeing veggies and juice and knowing that people are fueling their bodies with optimal nutrition and have a place to share, brag, ask questions and collaborate about the beauty of juicing.
Here are a few of my favorite posts from the event page so far…
I’m actually in New York for the week, and my baby juicer is all the way back in San Diego. But where there is a will, there is a way! Thanks you Yelp, I scouted out these bad boys just 4 blocks from our studio!
So I think it’s safe to say we are on a roll here — we have a great team and are fired up with enthusiasm for enhanced wellness — woot! I can’t wait to pick up more new recipes and inspiration as the month goes on!
Onto today’s post! I have 21 of my original Juice and Smoothie recipes as a part of Color Yourself Skinny 21-Day Diet Detox program (which is just about ready, I promise!). They are broken into red, orange, yellow, green and indigo color groups. Here is on one of my favorite green smoothie recipes. It’s a good one for beginners, because the almond milk and the banana make this truly delicious! For those just getting started, a bunch of raw greens can be a bit intimidating. It’s also great if you’re not working with a juicer and have a traditional blender or magic bullet.
So blend up, juice up, and enjoy the many alkalizing benefits of raw fruits and veggies!
Cheers!
What do you love most about Juicing? What’s your favorite juice or smoothie recipe?

There are many juicer on the market. Price’s vary a lot also. What kind of juicer do you recommend?

You are so right Carrol! You will never hear anybody complain about their Vitamix, but it is on the higher price scale. But also good for more than just juicing. When I started about 3 years ago, I went super cheap–entry level juicer– mostly because I wanted to test the concept. I’m still waiting for it to break so I can upgrade 😉 Here’s a quick blog I wrote a while back with some links that you may find helpful?
