This is probably the coolest feature. I love how comfy and cool the bed is, but the data that comes out of the sleep sensors is unreal. I’ve had a Fitbit for years, which also gives some pretty good insight into your sleeping patterns.
These sensors sit under the mattress near your head (there are 2, one for each sleeper) and are hooked up through your wi-fi. I did have a little trouble getting it to connect and had to update all my wi-fi settings but once it was set up, it was totally worth it.
The reports show you not just when you slept, but the quality of sleep you got. It also tracks your heartbeat and breath rate. You’ll also get a sleep score, a indicator of overall sleep quality. So it’s not just about how much you sleep, but also the efficiency, phases and number of times you wake up. They say aim for 75 or above, I’m very proud of my 81. LOL.
Knowing sleep data is one thing, but then what good would that be without a coach or some other information to make change. You might be like “um. I know I’m a bad sleeper, I don’t need a sensor to tell me that!” But I do think you would appreciate the coaching and lifestyle questions that come along with the data to really help you make smarter choices before bed to improve your sleep quality.
