This is most certainly a fun post for me to share today! Quite often, opportunities come up to work with a brand. And because there are a lot of brands out there that are helpful, I am happy to put together a clever post on their behalf (I also pass on a ton of not-so-relevant or helpful ops too). But I don’t think I was ever more excited than when POPSUGAR sent out the query for “bloggers who have cats.” I thought, “A chance to devote an entire post to Sam and Sophie?!” It’s like a dream for a crazy cat lady like myself…
Meet Sam and Sophie
I have referenced my loveable furballs a few times, as they are my office mates, roommates and children. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve most certainly become familiar with my silky grey kitty (Sophie) and fluffy white kitty (Samson) We share a lot of time together and they are a great source of joy, hilarity, and love in my life.
Meal Time Moments
You also may have noticed, that they are, ironically, very large cats. Sometimes we call them “fat” but using the F-word can be offensive, so will stick “plus size” kit cats. They are 30++ lbs between the two of them, so we have plenty of cat in my house — clearly meal times are of great importance in our household.
Dare I forget to fill those stainless steel bowls before I hit the sack and one wakes up hungry? Guess whose evening slumber get’s cut dramatically short? The white kitty has a fierce calling. And while I hate to give into his outrageous demands (like my 16lb cat is going to die in the next hour if his bowl is not filled?), I can’t help but oblige. They are my little love-balls and being mad at cat is like being mad at a cartoon. It’s just silly.
Did you know It’s Meow Time?
Now Meow Mix clearly isn’t interested in me gushing about my mad love for my furry friends…so let’s get down to it! They are promoting a sweepstakes, one that is perfect for all the crazy cat lovers out there. This is a chance to show your silly side and earn some cat food, cold hard cash and even a trip to Hollywood for you and your feline fried! How fun is that!? All you have to do is recreate the oh-so-familar “Meow Mix” jingle with your furry friend!
meow, meow, meow, meow – meow, meow, meow, meow…” Remember, it’s the only cat food cats ask for by name.
So tell me I’m not alone here? I can’t be the only crazy cat lady out there? I also can’t be the only fitness nut with plus-size kit cats can I? A feline fitness routine is what we need, and it’s certainly on my list of things to do…
