A Naturally Sweet Treat: Cranberry Oat No Bake Breakfast Bars

As a health coach and the creator of the Clean & Colorful solution, it’s my job to help you find foods that are not only good for you, but that also taste good. On top of that, my recipes need to be realistic, made with easy to find ingredients and can be thrown together in a matter of minutes. That’s why I shared my favorite grab and go healthy snack recipe earlier this month and exactly why I love these Cranberry Oat No Bake Breakfast Bars!

Cranberry Oat No Bake Breakfast Bars

They are made with 100% Clean & Colorful Pantry Approved ingredients and are super easy to make. The best part is that when you commit 10 minutes to making these once, you have a healthy breakfast on hand all week long. And once they are ready as grab-and-go, they take zero time to prepare, less than pouring a bowl of cereal and you can eat them on the go. I think you’ll actually come out ahead of the game on your weekly breakfast preparation and consumption time with these.

Cranberry Oat No Bake Breakfast Bars

These yummy no bake breakfast bars feature Craisins® Dried Cranberries and are a great way to naturally sweeten this recipe so nobody even really needs to know they are “good for you.” Plus, cranberries supply extra fiber, vitamin C and are known to be an all-natural bacteria blocker. They contain powerful phytochemicals, including Type-A proanthocyanidins (or PACs), which provide an antibacterial effect by preventing certain bacteria from sticking. Experts say that eating cranberries daily can be a nutritional approach to block bacteria that can cause urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Healthy Snack Idea

Not only do these no bake breakfast bars great in the morning, they are also a great grab and go snack! Just cut them in half, tuck them in a reusable baggy and head out for the day. You should keep them cool or they will get a bit crumbly. You could also keep them in the freezer and let them defrost throughout the day. They will provide the perfect amount of energy and nutrition to hold you over in-between meals and keep you from being at the mercy of the vending machine.
