Super Delicious & Easy Very Berry Protein Shake Recipe

As a business owner, avid exerciser and busy blogger, life can get rather crazy and time is not always on my side! Usually the days fly by and cooking three meals per day is not always an option. Luckily, protein shakes fit nicely into my busy schedule since they’re fast, easy to make and full of nutrition! I think you will love this one, so I had to share it!

One of my favorite protein packed brands is Pure Protein. Pure Protein products are versatile and delicious. Plus they are packed with protein which is an essential nutrient for building lean mass, strength, and for optimal body functioning.

Experts recommend that adults should  be consuming at least eight grams of protein for every 20 pounds at the minimum. This can seem like a lot, but Pure Protein products will help by providing between 10-35 grams of quality protein per serving! Some of my favorite Pure Protein products are the protein bars in Chewy Chocolate Chip and Dark Chocolate Coconut, and the Rich Chocolate Whey Protein Powder.

Very Berry Protein Shake Recipe

Making a delicious protein shake using Pure Protein whey protein powder is a easy way to get an extra 25 grams of protein into your diet daily.

Pure Protein powder comes in a variety of flavors, is low fat, gluten free, and easy to mix. You can easily mix this whey powder with water or blend with your favorite berries and almond milk. Either way it will taste great.

I love making  protein shakes throughout the day, especially when I’m running late and need to eat something fast. Sometimes I’ll have one when I come home from the gym as a post workout snack. This is one of my favorite fast, easy, and delicious protein shake recipes!

Very Berry Protein Shake Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop of Rich Chocolate or Vanilla Pure Protein Powder
  • 1/2 – 1 cup of frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries are my fav)
  • 1-2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2-1 cup water*

*Extra water i s totally optional and up to you. It can be a great way to make your protein shake larger, so it lasts longer. It can also boost your hydration for the day. It’s really a matter of preference in terms of the consistence you like your shakes to be.

Very Berry Protein Shake Directions:

  • In your blender add the ingredients in this order: spinach, almond milk, ice, berries then protein powder.
  • Blend for about 15-30 seconds on low then increase to high speed for an additional 40-60 seconds.
  • You can add more water if you prefer a thinner and more hydrating shake!
  • Enjoy!
