Whether you’re a seasoned athlete looking for a new way to measure success, or a couch surfing socialite looking for a new sport, understanding how to reenergize your fitness motivation is a key component of your path to success. Motivation ebbs and flows, it’s a natural part of the process.
The most successful athletes find ways to reinvigorate their fitness motivation by finding ways to win frequently. For those of us lifestyle and recreational exercisers, defined ways to win can be tough to find. That is exactly why I created the the 30-Day Challenge Series over four years ago. To give everybody a simple way to win so they could use the momentum of these wins to fuel their fitness motivation and to catapult their fitness to the next level.
Exercise is a war of the body and mind.
Whether you’re setting new personal records by breaking down your body so it rebuilds stronger, or your beating yourself up for skipping another workout – the road to fitness is a battleground. Remember, the key to success, is figuring out how to win.
- Winning is finding a way to make the work worth it.
- Winning is achieving a goal you committed to.
- Winning is doing something you didn’t think you could.
Winning fuels your motivation, ego and gusto and gives you the courage to keep on going. Many things need to happen to get a win, but first things first, you need to set your mind on a goal. The body will do what the mind believes it can. So what do you think you can do?
Finding the Right Win For You.
Are you in the best shape of your life and looking for a new focal point or format for your everyday routine? Or are you on the other end of the spectrum, looking for a life raft to pull you out of lethargy and sail you into the deep waters of fitness? Evaluate how you feel today and fast forward 30 days from now and think about how you want to feel?
Hot fitness motivation tip: Always begin with the end in mind. Once you see what you want to achieve, the steps to get there and the work that needs to be done becomes much easier to understand and execute.
A 30-Day Challenge Creates a Way to Win
I’ve been running the 30-Day Challenge Series for over four years now and we’ve hosted dozens and dozens of different types of fitness challenges. Why? Because they work! Loaded with excuse free exercises that provide enough variety in movement for almost any fitness level. 30 days is long enough to build a habit but short to not be intimidating. It’s long enough to see results, and quick enough to escape getting bored or burnt out.
After 30 days of a certain activity, a completed tracker and a stronger, leaner body, anybody can have a defined win! And they can use that win as the wind in their sails of fitness motivation. When you find success, you see growth, you achieve a goal, the journey becomes so much more fun! And when it’s fun, it can be easier to do, and not just for 30 days, we’re talking the long haul here.
The 30-Day Challenge Series continues on its mission to cultivate a community of fitness friends to provide a forum of support, guidance, accountability and most importantly, goals. Each month, featuring different challenges that are essentially vehicles to a fitter, stronger, more confident and happier you!
