Whether your detoxing or tired of retoxing, this Refreshing Creamsicle Smoothie is delicious! It will curb a sweet tooth and serve as a refreshing poolside indulgence – but the hook? It’s actually good for you!
The reality is, I’m coming off of a 3 day juice detox and kind of don’t want to. So I’m just putting random things in blender that I normally wouldn’t and this one actually turned out really good. And I realized it was just healthy, low calorie, super high in Vitamin C, Calcium. So I snapped a fancy pic and felt compelled to post this yummy creamsicle smoothie recipe. And even though you drink it, I’m posting in EAT, because technically, drinks are all I have eaten since Monday. And truth be told, I feel pretty good…
Vanilla Orange Refreshing Creamsicle Smoothie
- 2 Mini Oranges (Cuties) Peeled
- 1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 3 Ice Cubes
- Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Pumpkin Pie Spice
Nutrition: 34% Daily Calcium, 120% Daily Vitamin C, 110 Calories, 4g Fiber
Directions: add all ingredients to a blender and blend on various speeds until it’s all mixed together.
It’s a little chunky because the oranges don’t really like to be put in the blender, but go with it. That’s the 4g of fiber and once you get used to it, the texture grows on you.
Cheers – or – Bon Appetit – you choose 🙂
