What do you do when you want a little snack, like maybe a cookie, but you’re not in the mood for a ton of sugar or have time to whip up a fresh batch? I’ll tell you what, you can make the World’s Easiest Protein Cookie. I can’t even call this a recipe because it’s so easy. And sometimes easy is so simple, we just don’t think to do it. Give this one a shot next time you have a protein bar on hand, 5 minutes and a craving for a cookie!
Protein Cookie Instructions
- Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 350.
- Cut up your protein bar* in half length wise and then into 4 more smaller bites.
- Curb the square edges to make the bar bites round.
- Place on foil and bake for 5 min.
- Serve warm and with a side of milk for added calcium and protein!
What kind of Protein Bar should you use?
I used cookies and cream and cookie dough from Mission1 because it’s what I had in the cupboard — and they turned out good! But I’m willing to bet you could use any bar that is dense and not full of anything crispy or gooey. I bet Quest bars would be good here too.
Easy Protein Cookie Perks
When your craving says “cookie” and your heath and fitness goals don’t really agree, this can be the perfect solution. I have plenty of recipes that use protein powder as an easy alternative ingredient in traditional baked goods, but those take some time. I particularly love how with just 5 min and a knife, you can create a snack that supports your goals.
Cheers to #Smart16!

Such a genius idea… Protein bars really are essentially raw cookie dough!!
